Digital Preservation

MWSJ is actively preserved via the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). Content is also archived through LOCKSS. Regular secure off-site backups are maintained.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a third-party distributed preservation service that ensures long-term digital archiving of published content across participating library networks.

LOCKSS

LOCKSS is enabled within our OJS platform, allowing participating libraries to harvest and preserve journal content through a LOCKSS Publisher Manifest.

Backups

In addition to external preservation networks, the journal performs secure off-site backups of databases and published files on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and recovery capability.

Persistent Identifiers

All published articles are assigned DOIs via Crossref to ensure long-term discoverability and reliable citation linking.
